We love to celebrate birthdays here! The food is always delicious, the service outstanding, and even the kiddos are entertained!!

good, service and ambiance were perfect! The chef was entertaining and gave us the best hibachi experience.

It was such a nice experience! The cook was funny and pleasant and inter act with everyone including the children. I cannot wait to return. The food was fresh and tastes delicious. The restaurant was nice, clean and beautiful atmosphere for everyone very children friendly!

Food was amazing as always. Came to celebrate our son 7th Birthday and service was awesome. The environment was great. Monday & Tuesdays kids eat free so it's perfect for that.

I remember when these all popped up in the 90s and felt swanky as hell (I was a child to be fair), so when I was invited to come check this out as an adult I was kinda excited. Turns out Arirang is actually not that expensive, especially nowadays when most entrees are $25-$40 anyhow. At least here you get soup and salad, large entrees with some bonus shrimp, and ice cream for dessert. Is it gonna blow your mind? No, but it's still pretty solid. Maybe a little too salty off the grill to really get into the salt dipping sauces, but whatever. It's funny the chefs still do the same old tricks and show they've been doing for decades -- kinda nostalgic though, why change it if it works? Now they chop up a zucchini for you to catch so when it inevitably bounces off your forehead it's less tragic than a shrimp. Service is prompt and friendly as always, and the spectacle of the interior is still amusing. Come in a good mood, enjoy the silliness.

I was on a low-carb diet so I had sashimi but asked for a side of scallops. I celebrated my daughter's birthday with both sets of grandparents. Very accommodating and entertaining for the whole crowd. The service was very good and the food appealed to all!

If it tells you anything, Arirang's website is PartyOnTheGrill.com. And if you're lucky, you're going to be at this Bay Ridge institution the same night people are celebrating a high school graduation or a wedding or some other family party, because it means the people watching will be top notch. Either way, hibachi is always a good time. Personally, I like to start off our party on the grill with a Zombie or two, which is the world's most lethal cocktail according to the menu. (It hasn't killed me yet, and it seems more likely that my wife will if I keep drinking them and making fun of her for not being able to catch a rice ball in her mouth. I catch it like a champ every time, but her mouth to eye coordination needs some work.) From there, you should just get the full hibachi experience. By all means add a few things like the crispy tuna, various dumplings, and whatever your little heart desires, but also know that the full hibachi experience is WAY too much food. You're getting whatever proteins you decide on (salmon, steak, shrimp, etc.) the traditional soup (deliciously salty), house salad, veggies, rice (spring for the fried rice), and ice cream for dessert. And it will be too much. Your wife will tell you not to eat it all, and you probably will and it will be a mistake. But you won't be sad, because you partied on the grill.

Everything from the service, ambiance and food was spectacular. We came to have Hibachi for my daughter's birthday and our Hibachi chef was hilarious. He had the best jokes and kept everyone around us laughing as he cooked up the most amazing Hibachi I've ever had thus far. The drinks were great and I was able to purchase a cute drink glass of choice for an extra cost. I loved the Miso soup, Ribs, garden salad and dumplings. I also loved the fried rice of course and lo mien noodles and my son had Chicken Katsu which he devoured and he's a very picky eater so that goes to show how great the food is. The menu is very impressive. Lots of food to choose from and I'm definitely coming back to try some more.

Haven't been it Arirang's in a while, but they never disappoint in my opinion. As an appetizer, tried the taco sampler, tuna taco, rock shrimp taco and beef taco. Tuna was my fave. Main dish, I had the hibachi fried rice with shrimp and scallops. Meals come with a miso soup and salad, yum and yum. Everything was delicious, the chef was entertaining and our waitress Wendy was super pleasant. I had a ARIRANGRIA, Plum wine mixed with sake, pear vodka & assorted fruits. Very tasty and refreshing. For desert I had the red bean ice cream. Always a delicious treat. Always a clean and fun environment.
